Farm to fork fodder

The first time we stepped into the Nags Head was, without doubt, a feast of fodder with friends. Menus created by Michelin star chef Nigel Haworth sit patiently on the bar waiting to tempt and tease your taste buds. This delightful little pub had everything we could wish for and more. There are four log fires for cosy dinners in the Winter and outside there is a bowling green, kitchen garden, a delightful dining garden and even parking for your horse, should one wish to ride there! Nigel and his team are champions of local and British produce. It’s so refreshing to be eating good sustainable food and supporting local businesses. Time passed by quickly while we were there, happily tucking into our first-class fodder.

As we are going back again in a couple of week’s this is just a little intro….a little forkful of what is to come…..

Always remember fodder and flair can be found in many places from the Michellin-starred menu to the menu on the street. All that matters is that you appreciate and enjoy it!

The Geek – eek!!

My first post – eek!!

Travelling widely over the years has equipped me with many tales of fodder frenzies that have just been stored away, so I thought it was about time to dust them off and give them an airing. I’m very passionate if somewhat fussy about fodder. I know what I like and what likes me. Aside from that I’ll feast vicariously.

Fabulous fodder favourites are cool interiors. A recent visit to  Scenic 90 Cafe  in Pensacola, Florida was a great hit.

By day I write website content for a kitchen and bedroom company (maybe there’ll be a future for bedroom geek?) and various other kitchen related articles. I also design websites, I’m a fashion broker, keen photographer and urban explorer. I also have two amazing teenage boys and a chronic illness that keeps me more than on my toes. Yes M.E. I’m talking about you, the thorn in my side. I’m also training to be a Mindfulness Practitioner.

How will I find time to write a blog as well? If I can find time to read them then I can find time to write one, surely?

Writing down my thoughts and fodder findings is fabulously beneficial. There’s not enough storage left in my head so this will be my back up disc. There will, without doubt, be lots of photos appearing from funky flair to inspiring fodder. I attract randomness wherever I go, my boys say I bring it with me, so expect some interesting tales.
